Teachers who book a trip with the STA Travel Education team have the chance to win £10,000 to spend on their next excursion.
The travel company, which is one of the latest partners to sign up and back this year’s School Travel Awards, aims to make school trips more accessible for all.
Its director Ellen Rayner said: “Travel educates as well as inspires and we want to make school trips a more realistic opportunity for many students.
“A lot of our clients come to us with small budgets and are restricted to domestic travel. We want to make sure one of these groups has the opportunity to realise a new culture, somewhere further-flung.”
How to enter
To enter, schools must book a trip with the STA Travel Education team. Group leaders will then be sent a pre-departure pack containing a beach ball, which will need to feature in a creative photo of the group entering the competition.
Teachers will then need to follow STA Travel Education on social media before sharing the photo along with the hashtag #STAonTheBall.
The competition is now live and open to UK entrants. The deadline for applications is 1st December 2018 and the winning educational group will be announced in January 2019.
