Learners will have the chance to explore Málaga as part of a new Spanish Immersion Trip with NST.

These new Spanish Immersion Trips offer students the opportunity to learn and practice Spanish in real-world environments.

Each day is carefully structured to include language lessons taught by experienced native-speaking teachers, ensuring they receive tailored support suited to their level.

Beyond the classroom, students will be able to participate in cultural excursions and activities, such as exploring local markets, enjoying traditional cuisine, or attending flamenco workshops.

All of these experiences are included in the visit to empower learners to build confidence in speaking, listening, and understanding Spanish while connecting with the country’s culture.

Linda Green, head of product portfolio at NST, said: “We have been running French language enrichment trips to NST’s Château d’Ebblinghem for some time and have seen the impact this has had on students, both in terms of accelerating language learning and gaining cultural capital.

“With the growing number of students now studying Spanish within Modern Foreign Languages, it felt like the natural step within our product range.”

Each day is structured to include Spanish-speaking lessons that can be tailored to the skill level of the group.

Each Spanish Immersion Trip caters for students at Key Stage 3, GCSE and A-Level, and are customisable to meet the group’s needs according to curriculum and age range.

NST says that Immersive language experiences provide an unparalleled opportunity for students to enhance their language skills while taking part in daily lessons at hand-picked Spanish Language schools. Each excursion aims to provide a holistic insight into Spanish life and traditions.

While the visit has been launched to run at the Malaca Instituto, there are plans in place to role out this offering to the Spanish capital of Madrid soon.

Linda added: “Our Spanish Immersion Trips offer an ideal blend of education and exploration. By engaging with native speakers and participating in cultural activities, students gain a deeper understanding of both the language and the culture, creating memories that last a lifetime.”

As part of PGL Beyond, NST, collectively with sister companies PGL, EST and Studylink provides thousands of pupils across the UK with a range of school trips, language courses and sports tours to bring the curriculum to life beyond the classroom.
