Three new features, each linked to various curriculum subjects, have opened at the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort.
The attractions, available for school visits to the park, include Miniland USA, Miniland Explore The World, and The LEGO® Reef.
The additions link to subjects, for both Primary and Secondary students, such as Science, Geography and IT and involve interactive, hands-on activities.
New additions to the resort
Miniland USA showcases some of the USA’s most iconic landmarks and buildings such as The White House and Route 66 made in miniature form from LEGO® bricks.
Miniland Explore The World, meanwhile, features landmarks from Russia, India, China and Australia.
The LEGO® Reef allows pupils to create their own LEGO® fish on interactive equipment using virtual LEGO® bricks and touch screen technology and watch as their creation joins others on a large screen.

Schools visiting LEGOLAND®
School groups can enjoy plenty from a visit, besides the new features, at the resort, which last year won Best Venue for Science Learning at the School Travel Awards. Workshops on offer at the resort include LEGO®Time Traveller which was recently added to the offering, and LEGO© Therapy, Around the World and The Dragon's Tale, to name a few.
Special rates are available too and teachers looking to book can fill in the booking form via the website.
Keep your eyes peeled for the next edition of School Travel Organiser Primary where we talk to schools executive Jamie Lawrence about working for LEGOLAND® and why the attraction is so popular among schools. www.schooltravelorganiser.com/magazine
