Schools will be able to try out new activities at Green Park Centre in Buckinghamshire which has been added to the Inspiring Learning portfolio.
Green Park Activity Centre in Aston Clinton, Buckinghamshire, is set within 80 acres of parkland and woodland. Formerly a Rothschild estate, the centre is being reopened by Inspiring Learning which has a range of day camps in and around London and the home counties as well as running a selection of residential centres.
Facilities include; high ropes, zipwire, archery, low ropes and abseiling and there will be inflatable classrooms for arts and crafts activities available in the summer. The activities on offer are said to have been designed to encourage those taking part to become more confident and resilient while building on essential life skills such as communication, problem solving, leadership and teamwork.
School groups will be able to make use of the facilities on offer as part of Kingswood’s residential and adventure day programmes (part of Inspiring Learning). There is a 25-metre swimming pool and large sports hall on site too.
Alex Williamson, CEO of Inspiring Learning, said: “We are very excited to be bringing our educational adventure programmes to Green Park and we hope this new acquisition demonstrates our ongoing commitment to providing outdoor education for all.
“The site is home to fantastic facilities and is in a brilliant and easily accessible location for businesses, schools and groups to come and enjoy our wide range of programmes on offer and make memories to last a lifetime.”
The Inspiring Learning portfolio also includes Camp Beaumont which provides day camps - these will be running at Green Park Activity Centre this summer for children aged 3-16.
