School children can test their STEM skills as part of the session.

Utilising the LEGO® Education WeDo 2.0 and LEGO® Education SPIKE Prime (a combination of colourful LEGO building elements, easy-to-use hardware and an intuitive drag-and-drop coding language based on Scratch), students will build and program their own interactive model whilst covering key computing topics such as algorithms, Boolean (a data type with only two possible outcomes), repetition in programs, debugging & inputs and outputs.

The session focusses on bringing Computing and STEM learning to life outside of the classroom through a fun, hands-on workshop with the help of a member of the resort’s education team.

Students will work together in small groups and apply mathematical skills, such as estimation and measurement, to the test to design their model.

As well as this, pupils will grasp an understanding of the need for technology and robotics across LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort and will develop a range of skills linked to STEM learning.
