KidZania London has revealed the launch of the 2018 Careers Fair, a special three-day event for children where industry professionals will run a series of talks providing valuable insight into a whole host of different careers.
Taking place between 17th and 19th January, the Fair will develop the experience of learning further by allowing school children to connect with industry professionals and be inspired within a safe, immersive and empowering environment.
What will the Fair entail?
School groups will be able to meet and greet real-life professionals, and discover ‘a day in the life of’ individuals from a range of brands including some of KidZania’s partners such as British Airways, Al Jazeera, Global Radio, PDSA, Middlesex Cricket Club, Women’s Engineering Society, the Police and Team Margot.
The Fair will feature top tips and information for kids to take away. Students will get the chance to speak with experts in their field. From pilots to surgeons and reporters, KidZania’s Careers Fair will offer a fun and informative insight into the world of work.
The event will also highlight a wide range of ‘careers’ at the ‘indoor city run by kids’ designed to both entertain and educate children, at KidZania, located inside Westfield London.
School rates are available when booking a trip to KidZania. The attraction can be tied into cross-curricular subjects, including Science, Maths and PSHE. The Careers Fair will be a way for pupils to be inspired and discover what career interests they have.
