The Council for Learning Outside the Classroom (CLOtC) has announced the date of this year’s annual conference, which will be held at the Black Country Living Museum.

The conference will take place on Thursday 22nd November at the LOtC Quality Badge accredited Black Country Living Museum.

The CLOtC Annual Conference is a fantastic opportunity to keep up-to-date with the learning outside the classroom sector and network with others working in LOtC.

What will the conference entail?

This year’s conference will build on the success of last year’s event, aiming to be the biggest and best yet, making the most of the venue.

The conference offers inspirational speakers reflecting on topics relevant to LOtC, sharing their experience of implementing high quality LOtC provision.

It will also have a series of practical and informative workshops to allow you to find out more about specific aspects of LOtC.

The workshop programme offers both practical activities to develop your skills outside the classroom and more strategic sessions looking at key research and projects happening in the sector.

You can book your place now by visiting bookwhen.com/clotcevents.

About the Black Country Living Museum

The open-air museum in Dudley focuses on the Industrial Revolution and features houses, shops, a canal and a school house from the era, in which visitors can explore, plus more.

A school trip can tie in with the History curriculum and gives pupils the opportunity to get hands-on, and really get involved in the subjects.
