Laura Southall, head of learning at the Science Museum, said: “Being Open for All is one of our core values and embedded in everything we do at the museum, from the skills our brilliant explainers utilise on a daily basis to make museum visits a special experience for SEND school groups to our accessible facilities and resources and the events we host, such as Early Birds, Night Owls and SENsory Astronights. I’d like to thank everyone who voted for us.”

There were more first-time winners as the Best School Tour Operator category was split into two: one award for small/medium operators and another for large operators, won by Visions in Education and Travelbound respectively.

Niall Abbot, sales and marketing manager at Visions in Education, added: “We were completely over the moon to win with our first ever nomination. Thank you to everyone who voted, it means so much to us, to reward what we do behind the scenes to ensure students have a valuable and unique experience. What a year it has been for school travel!”
