Rayburn Tours take school groups all over the world, including Iceland.

The school trip tour operator will officially launch these trips in September, with teachers able to book for 2025 onwards. Destinations will include the Azores, Iceland, Costa Brava, Sicily, and an option in the UK at Derbyshire’s Mount Cook Adventure Centre, with more locations set to be released.

All trips come as a full package experience – everything from a tailor-made itinerary full of activities to full-board accommodation, transportation, insurance, a travel app and more. All visits focus on personal development and creating fun memories.

In Costa Brava there is a focus on water sports with activities like sailing, kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding on offer, while in Iceland, pupils will venture beneath caves, hike across glaciers and try Icelandic horse riding and snorkelling.

Tracey Nichols, head of product for Rayburn Tours, said: “We’ve cherry-picked destinations that we already know and love – well-established and always proving popular, and we’ve taken it up a notch.

“These trips are all about personal development – key skills outside of academic learning that nurture students’ confidence, resilience, problem solving, communication, creativity… The list goes on.”
